Delivery

Love it Local provides business with a platform for consumers to purchase Mate's Rates products, pay online and have goods delivered (delivery charges apply)

Where appropriate, prior to entry into the transaction contract with the consumer (subscriber), the business should give consumers the opportunity to let business know the purpose for which they require the product or service or the result they wish to achieve.


Record of Transaction

• Consumers will be provided with a Love it Local record of any order, transaction confirmation, or acceptance of any offer they make.

This will be provided to consumers by way of:

1. An email receipt of contact

2. An emailed order confirmation form

3. An emailed receipt of online purchase

• Love it Local business participants will promptly acknowledge receipt of any order confirmation, enquiry or acceptance received as part of their acceptance of the terms and conditions relating to business involvement in the Love it Local project

• Love it Local takes no responsibility for and provides no warranty as to the promptness of business participants response or the quality of the products and provides no warranty as to products or services provided to Love it Local consumers; this is the sole responsibility of the participating business

Delivery not usually available by the business

• Where delivery is not usually available by the business, the subscriber can choose to have the product delivered by a pre-determined freight company and pay the applicable fee.

• Love it Local provides business with the option to include an Australia Post delivery option online, all other freight requirements must be organised directly by the consumer (subscriber) with the participating business

• All online Love it Local transactions will be processed offline via the participating business’ eftpos system, increasing the security of sensitive subscriber information and avoiding business payment of financial gateway commissions

Cancelling a transaction

• If a Love it Local subscriber wishes to cancel a transaction, contact must be made directly with the participating Love it Local business and a resolution negotiated with them in accordance with their business policies and procedures. Love it Local is not a party to the transaction between business and subscriber

• Any costs applicable to the cancellation of products or services must be legally enforceable by the participating Love it Local business

Review of Payment mechanisms

• Love it Local business participants are encouraged to review the payment mechanisms they provide periodically to ensure they continue to offer a reliable, accessible and secure service
